With the aim of creating an alternative to Nespresso capsules, we launched Gourmesso in October 2012 on less than fifteen square meters in south-east Berlin. Our range initially consisted of five types of espresso, to which we added two types of lungo in our range from April 2013.Not only are we the online market leader for Nespresso compatible coffee capsules, we also have the largest fair trade range on the coffee capsule market as well as a selection of organic coffees. Since June 2015, we have been sourcing the coffee beans for our Gourmesso varieties exclusively from Fairtrade certified farms. These are harvested, rinsed, roasted and traded under fair conditions.
