Hape Toys started in 1986 when Peter Handstein and his sister founded Hape Kindergarten Supply in Germany. Following his passion and dreams, Peter spent three decades growing Hape from a local toy store to a global toy brand. Peter aspires to create a better world with toys, and his overarching philosophy "Love Play, Learn" is conveyed through Hape's wonderful toy creations.
